All The Way Alive

Spring Women’s Retreat

for women who feel the hum beneath the surface... and are willing to listen

All the Way Alive is a weekend gathering for women seeking to reconnect with their bodies, their truth, and the deeper pulse of life that moves beneath it all. Held on sacred land at Riverside Acres as Spring begins to take hold, this experience invites you into stillness, movement, and presence - not to become someone new, but to remember what’s already here.

This is a space for softness and wildness, silence and sound, grief and joy.
It’s a place to be with what is. Together.

There’s something shifting.
You’ve felt it - in the quiet moments, in the not-quite-rightness,
in the deep breath you didn’t know you were holding.

You don’t need to name it.
You don’t need to fix it.
You don’t even need to understand it.

You just need to show up.

This retreat is a space outside of time.
Not to escape - but to land.
To be in rhythm with what is already moving through you.
To follow the thread of desire, not for answers,
but for the beauty of not knowing.

We’ll gather where the river curves,
on land that knows what it means to remember.
We’ll move, listen, share, be still.
We’ll laugh, cry, rest, create, touch, be witnessed —
not to become something else, but to
be here.

As we arrive, the ground beneath us will shift.
As we breathe, something will open.
As we are seen, something will return.

The experience

We’ll begin our time together on Friday, with arrivals between 3:00–4:00 PM. You’ll have space to settle in, walk the land, and arrive fully before we gather for our first shared meal and evening welcome.

From there, each day will unfold with a spacious rhythm - shaped by the land, the body, and the quiet wisdom of what wants to emerge.

Throughout the weekend, we will weave:

  • Morning practices including Kundalini Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation and Inquiry

  • Movement and ecstatic dance to connect to the body and the present moment

  • Restorative rituals like altar creation, writing, and shared reflection

  • Creative expression and essence photography, offering a space to be seen without performance

  • Nourishing touch and presence-based connection, inviting safe, gentle and consensual intimacy

  • Spaciousness and integration, with time to walk the land, journal, and simply be

We’ll close on Sunday at 12:00 PM, after a final morning together and a soft, heartfelt departure. (No lunch will be served on Sunday — light snacks and tea will be available before you go.)

This retreat is for women of all backgrounds who feel called to pause, to listen, and to return to themselves in a season of renewal. You do not need to know why - only that something in you is ready.

You’ll be guided by Caroline, and joined by guest facilitators offering Ecstatic Dance, Kundalini, and support practices throughout the weekend. Meals are included and will be simple, nourishing, and shared. This is an intimate retreat with limited space available.

The location - riverside acres

Website | 30 mins North of St. Albert AB

Just an hour north of Edmonton, nestled beside the Redwater River near Vimy, Alberta, you’ll find Riverside Acres - a 14-acre off-grid sanctuary created with love, reverence, and a deep connection to the land.

This isn’t just a venue.
It’s a living, breathing space where time slows down.
Where wild grasses, native wildflowers, and the wind moving through the trees are part of the conversation.

You’ll be invited to:

  • Walk the Labyrinth Path and the Poetry Trail

  • Ring the Ancestor Bell

  • Send a message through the Telephone to the Wind

  • Watch the sunset from the open-air Big Timber Pavilion

  • Rest in charming cottages built with intention and care

  • Taste the warmth of Glenda Jean’s Kitchen

  • Lay under a star-soaked sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of the northern lights

The land is held with love — from the notes tucked into the rafters to the stories whispered through every stone and timber. It’s a place where simplicity becomes sacred.

This is where we gather.
Where we remember.
Where we let the quiet speak.

Caroline Stewart Inspired Me

Caroline stewart

Caroline is a heart-led guide, space holder, and weaver of soul-rooted experiences. She brings over a decade of work in the realms of meditation, breathwork, visioning, and feminine embodiment - not as techniques, but as ways of living.

With a deep devotion to remembering what’s true, Caroline creates spaces that feel safe, raw, and sacred, where nothing needs to be fixed, and everything belongs. Her work is rooted in rhythm, ritual, and the body’s wisdom.

She believes in walking with the mystery. In slowing down enough to hear the quiet. In gathering not to become more, but to remember who we already are.

Caroline lives just outside of Edmonton on a small piece of land where she bakes bread, dreams big, and dances with the seasons. All the Way Alive is part of her living body of work, one strand in a larger unfolding called All the Way Alive - a book (coming soon!), a remembering, and a way of being.

michelle christine

Ecstatic Dance Facilitator | Website | @michelley_christine (IG)

Michelle is a visionary space holder and initiatory guide, weaving movement, energy work, and soul-rooted ritual into transformative experiences. She carries a deep love for the Earth, community, and the beauty of devotion in motion.

A certified Mayson Method™ practitioner, breathwork and ecstatic dance facilitator, ritualist, and event planner, Michelle brings both grounded presence and electric aliveness to the spaces she leads. Her work is embodied, intuitive, and rooted in a commitment to regenerative living.

She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, to leap into the unknown, or to whistle while she works. Whether through dance, breath, or ceremony, Michelle creates openings — portals for reconnection, remembrance, and joy.

Based in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB), Michelle honours her roots in the lands of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations. She walks as daughter, auntie, mystic, Cancer Sun, Capricorn Moon, Leo Rising, and Manifestor — a unique blend of heart, vision, and fire.

Michelle’s presence at the All the Way Alive Retreat invites the body to speak, the spirit to move, and the soul to come fully alive.

samantha gotlib

Kundalini Guide & Morning Practice Facilitator | Sweetpea Cafe Website

Samantha is a mother, community builder, and space holder whose presence is both grounding and luminous. She brings deep care and intuitive strength into every space she’s part of — whether that’s guiding a morning practice, raising her family, or nourishing the hearts of others through her work at Sweetpea Café & Playhouse in Edmonton.

At Spring Retreat, Samantha will lead our morning Kundalini sessions — anchoring each day with breath, movement, and presence. Her approach is gentle yet powerful, inviting you to return to yourself and meet the day with clarity, vitality, and grace.

Samantha walks with integrity, warmth, and wisdom. Her offerings are less about doing it “right” and more about feeling what’s real — in the body, in the breath, in the moment.

She reminds us that even the smallest rituals can become portals of transformation.

monique campsall

Essence Photographer & Sacred Witness | @moniquecampsall (IG)

Monique is a visual storyteller, homesteader, mother, and lover of beauty in all its wild and ordinary forms. With a camera in her hand and her feet on the earth, she captures what is most true — the flicker of light behind the eyes, the stillness between breaths, the presence that doesn’t need to perform.

As a homesteader, Monique lives close to the rhythms of nature — tending to her garden, her animals, her children, and her creative life with equal reverence. Her photography is an extension of this way of being: honest, gentle, and alive.

At All the Way Alive, Monique will offer essence photography — not staged portraits, but quiet, intentional moments of being seen. You’ll have the opportunity to be witnessed in your truth, just as you are, held in beauty without expectation.

Her gift is presence.
Her medicine is seeing.

Susan dumais

Sacred Touch Facilitator & Retreat Support

Susan is a devoted mother, a quiet anchor, and a woman whose presence speaks louder than words. With a deep capacity to hold space through stillness, support, and subtle wisdom, she offers grounding in a world that so often rushes past what is tender and true.

At All the Way Alive, Susan will guide a Sacred Touch Ritual — a gentle, fully-clothed, consent-based exploration of caring touch. Through texture, choice, and presence, this practice invites each woman to reconnect with her body, her senses, and the experience of asking for what she truly needs. Nothing is assumed. Everything is invited. This is about being met, not fixed.

Susan’s presence reminds us that healing doesn’t always come through doing — it comes through being witnessed, being cared for, and remembering that we are allowed to receive.

She’ll also be supporting the retreat space throughout the weekend, tending to the unseen threads that help each woman feel safe, welcome, and held.

chelsie balderson

Akashic Guide & Creative Facilitator

Chelsie is a certified Akashic Records practitioner, intuitive artist, and community builder who walks with deep trust in the unseen. Her work invites you to listen closely — to the whispers beneath the noise, to the language of your soul, and to the wild rhythm of your own becoming.

With a background in event coordination, teaching, and soul-led facilitation, Chelsie creates spaces that are both mystical and grounded — where creativity becomes a channel for clarity, and expression becomes a way home.

At All the Way Alive, Chelsie will guide a gentle Akashic Records journey, opening the door to deeper self-knowing and soul remembrance. From that space, we’ll move into an intuitive painting session — a chance to give color, shape, and form to what you’ve uncovered. No art experience is needed. This is about feeling, not perfection.

Chelsie’s presence is warm, clear, and deeply rooted in the belief that healing is often messy, magical, and absolutely beautiful.
